Piston works...

 Well after contacting Truett and Osbourne for some inf  about the Ebay win pistons, turns out they are from the first batch and required a bit of clearance work for a hot motor. Not that I am going to run it as a race bike!

So off to my good friends machine shop, a few cuppa's later and we have achieved the correct clearance. Taking 10 thou off each side and use 012" thou ring gap with a bore clearance of 005"





Bottom End


Having the bottom end balanced and put together by the same man who built the current WL power plant. He sent me this update. Still required some parts. So bit the bullet and placed an order from the EU, no we are out side it....

Delivery my friend!



 Top end supplies for the WLA Stoker motor have arrived. Thanks to JWBoons.  Next steps on this lot is bore +60 and new seats for the big inlet valves.

 Today mocked up the cases and using high tech methods... pencil and scribe. Mark out the areas to remove on the mill..



Then machined for clearance, step one complete
